Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Nexclesia ("we", "us") provides church management software to churches ("Customers"). This policy explains what data we handle and how we protect it. It is a general policy and does not constitute legal advice — Customers should review it against their own obligations.

Who controls the data

Each church is the data controllerof its members' information. Nexclesia acts as a data processor, storing and processing that information on the church's behalf to provide the service.

Information we process

How we use it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use member data for advertising.

Storage & security

Data is hosted with reputable cloud providers and encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based permissions, and we keep regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Sharing

We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers that help us run the service (e.g. hosting, database, email and SMS delivery), each contractually bound to protect it. We may disclose data where required by law.

Retention

We retain church and member data for as long as the church's account is active. On account closure, data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Members who wish to access, correct or delete their information should contact their church, which controls the data. Churches can action these requests directly within Nexclesia, or contact us for help.
